How WordStudy compares

WordStudy is an English-vocabulary specialist: an 84,633-word CEFR dictionary spanning A1 to C2, where every word comes with a translation, CEFR level and definition, and you add words from YouTube, text, a photo, or 40 collections. Here's an honest look at how it compares with popular alternatives — including what each does better.

The dictionary is hand-audited rather than scraped. The A1–B1 definitions were checked against the rule that a learner at a given level does not yet command that level: 596 were rewritten.
